AD WOMEN

The figures below are tiny. The seated figure is about 7 inches tall, and the other two are slightly smaller. They are details from a series of multi paneled drawings that poked fun at advertising illusions. Though the completed pieces now seem a little silly and self-righteous, these individual figures intrigue me. ( all are pencil on paper )

From my first show ……

This is a detail from one of the drawings in my first show (Orlando Gallery, 1973). They all had central images like this that depicted animals as tiny tactile icons. The detail is a little less than actual size on most desktop monitors.
